How many people can a large group wine tour take?
Our large group vehicle seats up to 11 guests. If your group is bigger than that, get in touch and we'll look at running two vehicles on a coordinated schedule so your group stays together.
Is the large group tour price per person or per vehicle?
Per vehicle. The price covers the vehicle and your private itinerary for the whole day, regardless of how many guests are in your group (up to 11). Split across a full group, it's often cheaper per head than booking individual seats on a shared tour.
Does the price include wine tastings?
No. Pricing covers private transport and your personalised itinerary only. Tastings, food and winery entry fees are booked and paid directly with each winery on the day.
What's the difference between Classic and Premium for large groups?
Classic is a 7-hour touring day covering 4–5 wineries. Premium extends to 8 hours, covers 5–6 wineries, and includes a return dinner transfer to a restaurant of your choice — so your night doesn't end when the last cellar door closes.
Can we choose our own wineries?
Yes. Every large group tour is fully private, and your itinerary is built around the wineries and stops your group actually wants to visit — not a fixed route.
Where do you pick up large groups?
Free pickup is available from Pokolbin, Lovedale, Cessnock, Nulkaba, North Rothbury and Anywhere within 15kms of Hunter Valley gardens. If your accommodation falls outside these areas, contact us to confirm availability.
Do you charge differently for weekends?
Yes. Weekend tours (Saturday–Sunday) are priced slightly higher than weekday tours (Monday–Friday) due to demand. Both weekday and weekend rates are shown above for each tour tier.
Can the dinner transfer be used on a different day to our wine tour?
No. On the Premium tour, the included return dinner transfer can be used only on the day of your wine tour.
How far in advance should we book a large group tour?
Large group vehicles are in higher demand than standard tours, particularly for weekend hens and birthday bookings. We recommend booking at least 4–6 weeks ahead for weekend dates, especially during peak wine season.
