Who is this for?
Groups of 2–6 who want to explore the Hunter Valley on a weekday without the cost of a full private tour. Perfect for retirees, birthdays, couples and weekday getaways who want the driving taken care of without paying for a dedicated driver all day.
Can I choose any stops?
Yes — your 4 stops can be any combination of wineries, restaurants, cafes or attractions. Mix a morning winery, a long lunch and an afternoon tasting. All stops within Pokolbin, Nulkaba, Lovedale and Cessnock are included in the base price. Stops outside these areas may incur additional charges.
Does the driver wait at each stop?
No — your driver drops you off and returns at your agreed pickup time. You get complete freedom at each stop without feeling rushed. Changes on the day? Just text us — we will try to accommodate but last-minute changes may result in a short wait.
Why weekdays only?
Weekends are reserved for our full private wine tours. Weekdays are honestly better anyway — quieter cellar doors, shorter queues and more personal attention from each winery. Less traffic, easier parking and a much more relaxed pace.
What is the service area?
The transfer pass covers Pokolbin, Nulkaba, Lovedale and Cessnock at no extra charge. Pickups or stops outside these areas — such as Broke or Mount View — are available but additional charges apply. Contact us before booking to confirm your pickup cost.
What if we are only 2 people?
The minimum spend is $300. A group of 2 is welcome to book at the $300 minimum rate.
Are tasting fees included?
No — the pass covers transport only. Tasting fees, wine, meals and entry fees are at your own expense at each stop.
How is this different to a private wine tour?
With a private wine tour your driver stays with you all day — waiting at each stop and adapting in real time.
